Job Title: Automation Testers/Test Automators - Quality
Location: Hyderabad, INDIA
Education: Engineering/Computer Science Degree

Job Description:
QA Technology provides products and services for video game development and quality assurance activities to all EA World Wide Studios. As a member of the QA Technology team, you will participate in quality of the automation scripts developed using sustaining leading edge software tools and frameworks used throughout EA which directly contribute to the quality of EA console and online games.
Responsibilities:
Prioritize, run, monitor and troubleshoot automation scripts nightly
Monitor and report automation Server problems.
Gather data and report progress through standardized Automation reports
Execute Test Plans; report and regress bugs
Troubleshoot, manage and maintain the console soak farm assigned to your project
Ensure full utilization of all consoles in QA by assisting in setting up and monitoring nightly automation.
Audit scripts and identify maintenance requirements to ensure automation can proceed as the game changes.
Acceptance test new or revised scripts
Regress script fixes.
Assess the current state of the project (risks/mitigations) and assist in addressing these risks with the game team
Track project (and self) progress through department standardized metrics tools
Pro-actively knowledge share with peers.

Skills Sets and Experience:
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Strong written/oral communication skills and listening skills
Flexibility to work outside of core hours as required
Proficiency with MS Windows and Office suite
Pro-active, highly motivated and a strong team player with a positive attitude
An ability to take ownership and responsibility for a task of high importance and see it through to completion
A proficiency in multitasking in high stress environments under tight deadlines
Full understanding of Software Quality Assurance concepts
Training in software engineering (particularly C++ and C#) is beneficial
Training in hardware/networking/servers (particularly Windows Server 2003) is beneficial
